Yes, he's a sweety alright! He came from a pet store actually, but they only get their babies from only a few select breeders. And their bird guy is just awesome. This store is a little hole in the wall, but they've been in business for 40 or 50 years.

Like the name you've chosen too, LOL on the kids winning out. My daughter actually wanted to argue about how we spelled "Poppy", she wanted "Poppi" because her name is "Maggi". I told her "for crying out loud girl, the bird's not going to write his name!"
