I've never owned a Grey or Conure, but have had plenty of time interacting and observing them. In my opinion, they're both playful, but in very different ways. I'll compare them with this example. There is a big tree that's perfect to climb. A 50-year old person (don't yell at me, I'm 52 and still climb an occasional tree) and a ten-year old climb this tree. The 50-year old looks, thinks and considers what branch to use, which way to climb and how not to fall to the ground. The ten-year old reaches for every branch within reach, bounces the branches and swings around. By the time the 50-year old has climbed halfway up the tree, the 10-year old has climbed up, down and around the tree several times and been laughing all the while. In this story the 50-year old is the Grey and the 10-year old is the Conure. They're both playful, but in very different ways.
