Hey guys!!!
I am back from the breeders ad I had a wonderful time!!! The breeder is so nice which makes me feel so good about getting my grey from her. My grey is just awesome and so sweet!!! I held her in my arms for a long while and she just hung out there nice and quietly, she seemed very happy and content. I walked around with her, patted her, and talked to her. She would make some baby sounds and even started beak grinding and she started to drift off to sleep. She is so sweet, gentle, and I just love her. I am sure of the sex yet, but I am just calling her a she for now - the breeder will be doing a DNA test for me soon, she is going to wait until her first nail clipping that way it can all get done at once. Right now she is 11 weeks old and doing very well at eating her pellets and fruits and veggies. Oh and she is a Congo. My breeder expects her to be able to come home by the end of the month - within 2 weeks. Yippie!!!! I have more news though - during my visit I put down a deposit on an adorable 7 week old Indian Ringneck. I just couldn't resist - I have been wanting to get another IRN since mine passed a while back, but have never come across that "perfect" one until now. This one is so sweet and we really seemed to get along and have a wonderful connection. She is a confirmed female and she is grey - which I think is probably my favorite color of the ringneck. The breeder believes she will also be able to come home around the same time as my AG. I will have my work cut out for me with 2 new young grey fids. ![]() |
