my experience with greys, I would say that they will most likely not get along, and will have to be supervised when out together. Also you will need another cage. fights can occur and it can lead to death.
I have three cags, and they keep me on my toes. I think alot of the not getting along is from sybling rivalry, so keep your eyes on them! ![]()

Thanks for the information. Now I'm scared. Is there any chance this could work out?

My CAG Sammy is 4 and we took in another CAG that was 5 months old. No you can not cage them together. But, now they seem to be getting along (most of the time) Sammy did have a Budgie share his room for a bit until I found a new owner for her. Sammy has also is very social with people.
Make sure you give attention to Sage first then to new bird. After a while they may exist happily together like Sammy and Ollie. Now I will find them hanging out on the same cage together once and awhile. But, all in all Greys need their own space and their own cage. My 2 Cags and BH Pionus seem to be pretty happy in the Bird room together. Good Luck! |

Nothing to be "fearful" about. Just be conscious of the fact that they might never get along. So if this is the only reason? than it might not be the best reason for getthing him. And it might take an instant for them to be pals. Or six months to just tolerably get along in the same room. No set scenario. no possible way to predict.

Well I also have 3 Greys 2 TAG's and 1 CAG.For at least a year they had a separate cage.Eventually I placed the 2 TAG's together the CAG hangs out on top of their cage. They get along just fine except for sometimes I have to intervien because the CAG is in love with one of the TAG's.But all in all I usually don't have problems with them.Remember to quarantine your new bird for at least 30 days.
