Talking

Hi all! Thanks for the kind words and wishes! I can't believe how excited I am! Breeder says she just took her first flight on Sunday. Shes on 4 feedings a day still though. Argh. Seems like it's taking FOREVER. But I am waiting to get her cage an accessories till I know she is coming home. I couldn't stand to see it all set up and empty! But now maybe that she has flown she is thinking, "hey I am a big girl now, I can feed myself!" LOL

I know exactly what you mean on that big cage sitting there empty. I went through that too. When the big day comes and you bring her home your lives will be changed forever.
They are the greatest loving creatures. I've had mine for a year now and she is so neat. She is so much fun. I am amazed on how she picks up noises and talks already.
I just wish she would stop barking like a dog.

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing. Our fids are 5 & 7 months and we visited them nearly every day before they were able to come home ... puts a lot of mileage on your vehicle, but worth it!

Aww, she's adorable! Now the question is: can you wait that long to take her home? :P
