Cool/Funny Phrases to teach my bird

Hi Everyone,

I have all this time to think about stuff before my little boy comes home.

This may be kind of silly but here it goes. I'd like to have a collection cool, funny phrases that I can teach my bird to say. So if your bird says a phrase that is cool or funny, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks!

Birds tend to pick the most random and unusual phrases to mimic (and sometime some undesirable phrases!) , so don't be disappointed if he doesn't say what you want him to say. And not all birds want to talk (I know African Greys have great talking abilities, but not all will choose to talk). My budgie is the talker of my flock and some things he makes up himself (putting different words together, but they do make sense when he does this) and some stuff I have no idea where he got it from!

I've had my quaker, Pumpkin, for 2 years now. I've been trying to get him to say "mommy pretty" and "I love you." I got nothing. He prefers to talk to the dishes. While I'm wearing my rubber gloves and washing, the rubber squeaks on the dishes. He will be sitting on my shoulder making the same noise and dancing as if he was so excited to be talking to his wet, bubbly, friends. Go figure.

Well I think I won the lottery on "Mr. Motormouth" CAG. Don't be surprised if you don't hear a thing uttered for a year & all of a sudden it ALL comes out! All the things you wanted them to say & all the things you wish they hadn't.

My favorite I taught him is "Whatssssssssss up!" and a trick to bob his head up & down singing "Do you wanna Paaaaaaaaarty!"

Than there are the things he does in the morning like yelling "Wake upppppp!" at dawn. Or, the cutest one where he know's I'm putting him back in his cage and starts stomping around saying "Gotta putcha away, Max"... "Gotta putcha away!"

There's so much he say's now with clarity that no one knows whose calling/talking to who in the house.

I melt when Zazu says " I love you Mama"...he gets me too when he says "I'm a good boy"...even when he hasnt ..LOL. Zoe says "I'll be a good girl" when we put her in time out . I am also teaching them to sing twinkle twinkle little star. I think little songs are real cute when sung by a bird.

It's been a while since I have posted anything but Smokey my grey is 1 year old as of last week. She's says:

"My name is Smokey"
"I'm sorry" -That was a new one this morning.
"What"
"whooooooaaaaaaa"
"WHAWHAWHAWHA"
"Hello" That took a long time.
"Smokey Smoke"
"blows Kisses"
She whistles pretty songs.
"whatcha Doing"
"NO"!!!

I'm trying to teach her to say "No Worries"

She can say a bunch of other things but I can't think of them all right now.
She starting talking about 6 months of age. Some take longer I heard. Some pick it up right away.

Last B&G I looked after said nothing for months and with me she started saying "Is it!??" in a weekend. She also said "Hurrrrrr" and laughed menacingly. She also took on the sound of the squeaky bedroom door handle. She also said "...bird wantses some!"

Mikko randomly picked up Good boy!, Crazy bird, Monster loves mummy/mummy loves monster, Wassat?, Stop it!, Why? , NO! , Chopsey bird, sausages and random words that hes made up that dont really exist.

He also makes fart noises, razzing noises and copies the birds outside.

My dad friend used to have a grey called Captain. By the time he was 4 years old he was a feathered profanity dictionary, and all were things he's accidentally overheard or picked up.

Spend more than ten minutes in his presence and you were in stitches, it's very hard to take profanitised threats from a parrot seriously when he's throwing himself at you for head scratches.

It's making me laugh just thinking about it. Poor Cappin'. RIP you crazy bird.
