Rehomed CAG last night

Last night hubby and I rehomed a CAG named Rosie. She is assumed to be a female.Anyway I am her 3rd and final home. The owner I purchased her from has had her since 95.Rosie does not have any issues. The reason she was rehomed was because the owner just started her own business and isn't home with her a lot.She was doing what was best for her.The owner opened the cage took her out and offered her to me she immediately stepped up and started kissing me as well as regurgitating for me.It was awesome she even went to hubby who isn't a bird person. We spend over an hour getting to know her but I knew right away that she was coming home with us.Now we have 19 FIDS which now consists of 2 CAG's and 2 TAG's as well as a bunch of others.I plan on taking her to my avian vet this week and have an exam right now she is in quarantine.I also plan on having her DNA sexed.I only recently had my other CAG DNA sexed only to find out Jack is a she so I changed her name to Jade.I look forward to getting to introduce her to my flock.

Congratulations on your new addition. I would be thrilled. An African Grey is my dream bird. I don't know if you can beat a U2 though. My Whiteboy is about a perfect bird. I'm happy for you!
