Oh...boy, new noise from Izzy

For the last hour now, I've been yelling at the dog to stop passing gas. He's been doing it loudly. He looks at me, gives me this resigned expression and sighs.

...Then I found out, the noise wasn't coming from the back end of my dog, it was coming from Izzy! He's been making fart noises! Really, um.. well done ones. /dies

That is funny! Your poor dog probably thinks you have really come undone. Meanwhile you have your lil grey clown laughing under his beak.

Oh, I love that you he's a namesake to your Hahn's.

That's a pretty smart guy. I wonder what other tricks he's got up his sleeve?

I'm a bit sad today, kinda... He's been having fun getting used to his cage and playstand and the toys, toys, toys! lol He won't let me touch him, and is swift to give a skin breaking bite that bleeds. :( Then my MOTHER visited, and came in, and he hunkered down, gave this babyish hooting sound, whistled at her, then hopped off the cage and ran to her.

SHE can pick him up and he just rubs against her.

Me? I'm now hissed at, glared at, and he tries striking out with his beak whenever I come somewhat near. I'm now the "Not the Mommy" lol.

/starts to cry lol

... My mother stole my bird.

My dog doesn't even respond to vocal calls anymore. We have to tap our hip to make him listen...LOL!!

My Timneh has worn him out. The dog did respond to him for years, now he ignors his name being called from who-ever.

I'm sorry your bird has decided your not his favorite. That's one thing most people don't talk about. You can earn his trust though. Just be presistant/dependable and don't show any fear.
Maybe he will change his mind. He's still young.
My husband usually wins over our new charges at first.
Then as the birds see who is around more they change their minds.

Good luck!!

AS far as the mood change toward you. did you cut your hair? new Glasses? change your makeup? Perfume change? wearing different clothes? all of these things are things to think of when having a grey. Now all my birds Hate my mother cause she wears glasses. Sylvester will not step up if I have long sleeves on. Olly will bite if I am wearing black. So it could be something a simple as that.

As far as the fart noise. Play the radio so he picks up something else. My birds were doing the stuff the snot as far to the back of you head as humanly possible. Played the radio alot now they do the p.c. richards theme song. Better than snot.
Poor Dog getting yelled at for the bird. LOL.
