I would much rather rescue / rehome an older bird and give it a second chance than bring home a new baby, so if anyone reading this is from the UK and knows of somewhere or a parrot person i can contact please let me know.
I've seen loads of birds on the internet that are looking for a new home but i'm still unsure which type would best suit Tav as a new feathered friend, naturally my first choice has been a grey but i'm open to suggestions? :O)
