Arrow Finally took pics

Well I have my grey for about a week now and he seems to have settled nicely. So I thought it was about time to take some pics. So here they are. The last pic is a closeup of his feet, which are missing the tips on seven of his eight toes. The cage in the pics is where he sleeps and hangs out if I need to leave the house. Otherwise he is walking along the couch and messing with me while I do my websites. He always wants a head scratch.

I still haven't named him. I have been toying with Darwin, Merlin, Lobo and Doc. Suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

Very handsome guy there!

My mother's dog is Merlin, and I love it. We make all sorts of nicknames for him. But I'm a fan of Darwin, too.

I like Merlin. Magical Merlin. very handsome boy you have there. thank you for sharing him with us....
did you hook up with babypiggy?

Ya might want to try to find or make some comfort perches for him because the one foot looks rather short.
I did not look up the breeder I was going to get from (honestly I forgot to) but here is the pic of the group of greys I was looking at.....and even paid for dna on one but never heard back from them.

Could be. The pictures look like the same type of counter that I got a pic of mine from. Mine is 9 months old now, so I guess it depends on how long ago the pics were. The people I spoke with were Bill and Michele.

I did get a chance to exchange some emails with babypiggy, which is why I got the rope perch. I can't find any flat perches, so I may have to make him some. He seems to be doing so much better then when I got him, as in he is starting to relax. He climbs all over the cage now and I think he's getting the balance thing down.

Oh, as for the shorter leg, in the picture he is leaning towards the camera, which may have something to do with it. When he stands straight up and walks around, they appear the same height. I will have to look closer though now.

Well it looks like Darwin or Merlin, which were my two favorites. Now to choose....

Thanks,
Joe
