the eyes really start to change around 6-9ish months...they turn to a light greyish, then keep getting lighter to a pale yellow ....ya really start to notice the yellow and not grey about 12-18 months into it...but then again, they are alllllllll different. Its such a subtle change, ya look one day and say, "hey, when did that happen?"
My Sydney went yellow Quick. He and Emma are not even two months apart. By two years of age, they are yellow. An older grey that has very yellow eyes, when its time for the well birdy visit, it should be discussed with the vet, about liver problems. Very yellow eyes can be a sign...tho NOT A DIAGNOSIS. Some Greys do have bright yellow eyes and no problems. I was just throwing that info out there, as told by my vet because I did have a grey with failing liver that had extremely bright yellow eyes. yeah, Emma was a good girl with her bow. she is very tolerant to her moms stupid moments (hey SDavid...need a bow to go with them pjs? )I really really really wanted a girl...but its not really that obvious now is it? We have so much testosterone in this house, I needed someone on my side....plus, I wanted to name her after my grandmothers. Her baby well visit slips call her "baby no name" because I wouldnt name her till her results came in.
