I was sitting at the table eating lunch and all of a sudden this loud nasty noise came out of Roscoe! He burps just like DH does now He kept on doing it until I got up! I guess DH must do it way more than I realize. Now I've got two of them doing it! It's really funny but really sick.

Our 8 month old CAG has learned to do the evil laugh. Drives me nuts! I will get my daughter back for that one. Her 3 year old is a prime candidate....

ohhhhhhhhh we have pleasant sounds as well. Stirling hacks up flem, has a horrid cough, and Emma farts...imagine that?????

None of that is bad. My CAG? Ok let me back this up a bit with the tale...

I work long hours in my home office. Big comfy chair, television, computer, all the comforts of ...well yah. Sometimes I um... happen to take a little nap in the chair. Well, Izzy's cage is in my office. So there I was, doing my normal thing and I lean back in my chair to rest my eyes a sec, and I hear snoring.

...Izzy has decided 'naptime' means snoring. /blush I guess I snore. So, now he snores when he fake dozes on his play gym.

So my daughter comes in, blinks at the bird and says (btw, anyone want a 12 y/o human girl? Cheap, comes with her own cage) "OMG Mom! He sounds JUST like you!"

I'm waiting for the farting sounds. Echo already says Hey who farted. Must admit I taught him that. But now we have this fart machine that has 15 absolutely gross wet sounding farts and the kids love it and soon very soon Echo will sound like a gross wet fart too... Oh the love of having a living tape-recorder in the house

I'm laughing so hard at this thread. It's hysterical what they pick up! Roscoe sounds just like my DD(who is 4) screeching her head off when she just wants to make noise. I almost yelled at her one day until I realized it was the bird! I'm waiting for him to say "Cody DOWN!"(one of our dogs).

The farting noise was the first one my CAG, Ralphie learned. When I lived in my old house, she would make the noise every time I walked up the stairs. I swear I didn't do that when I walked up the stairs. LOL Other noises took forever for her to imitate...but the farting...that was a matter of days.

Today I was telling my kids, "Hey, we have a $1000 cockatiel!" because Ralphie can now imitate the chirp of the cockatiels. Usually right in my ear. LOL
