Question re vacation
I have a good question. We are going on vacation in June. The place we are going is pet friendly. I do not want to leave Martini behind, however, since we are driving I am at a loss as to what I can do for a cage once we get there.
Martini spends most of the time out of the cage, so should i bring a small cage to tuck her into bed at night? Mostly we hang out all day together outside of the big cage. Has anyone heard of a collapsible cage that i could fit in our trunk? All thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated. The thought of boarding her or leaving her in a neighbors care makes me nervous. Thanks for the help! Jac |

I have a collapsible cage that I got from our local bird store (but I know it is online too). And we use it for exactly these reasons! I love taking Darwin with us on trips and he always knows it is coming when we break out the travel cage. It breaks down to just a couple inches high and only weighs 5 pounds too. I highly recommend it.
Here is a pic of our trip: ![]()
