Merlin amazes me...

Well I am sure you are all amazed with your greys on a daily basis. Merlin is my first grey and he has been a real trip these 3 weeks.

I think he is finally settled in as he is talking up a storm now. One day he just started talking like crazy and mimicking my other birds. He whistles like my cockatiel (who is also talking now) and screams like my conure. He even makes a knocking noise and wait for you to say 'Who's there' then he says Hello. That truly amazes me. He seems to be mimicking alot of what I say and seems to talk mostly when its just me around, although my wife hears him talk some times.

Well just wanted to share that. Oh, I also wanted to thank Lisa for all her help in getting Merlin to step up. He still doesn't do it, but at least now he lets me touch him wherever and touch his feet. So its progress.
