Well we have had our CAG for three weeks now and he is really coming out of his shell, I really love having him around, these birds are super smart, and they have a whole lot of attitude to boot. The only think I wish I could change is the fact that from what I have seen and researched, is that they are not a cuddly type of bird, but he more than makes up for that flaw in every other category, he IS learning to let us give him scritches and touches, but I can see that it is going to be a long battle, but we have been making progress.
We have a lovable conure, and have a B&G Mac on the way, so we will get lovins from those two birds at least, and maybe if we are lucky then our CAG will take notes and open up more.
When our CAG is talking and whistling and such he is just a laugh a minute, you are really going to love having a CAG around, and if you do end up getting one then you need to really watch what you say around him, he will pick it up and remember it for the rest of his life..........LMB
