My Severe runs with his "wingers" spread out like hes waiting to catch a breeze and take off. Wings spread... head down. Hysterical.

Thats hilarious. I think it would be a fun and good way to get excersise for not only the bird but you! Just kidding. I would deffintetly set some boundaries and let him know that he isnt in control so he thinks he can just walk off one day without you know.
A video would be funny though.
