Sophie gave me a black eye.....

I was sitting on the couch when hubby walked by with a box, and that is Sophies biggest fear, she hates boxes! She half flew-fell, right into my face, her head and beak hitting me on the left eye right at the edge of my nose, and under my eye! She and I both said OUCH at the same time.

Seems she got a small boo-boo too, she has a small skinned spot right above her beak! She was immediately PO'd at hubby, so decided to try a "box" me with her beak when he tried to take her off my arm, which is a game we play, asking if she wants to fight and making a shh shh type sound, LOL!

My eye is reddish blue from the bridge of my nose to under it, should be an interesting one to explain! LOL!

LOL! Hubby was the only one unscathed! How the heck do I explain that my bird gave me a black eye, only bird people will even get that one LOL!

DH said that I got a black eye and Sophie got a bloody nose LOL! Good grief what a morning!

Oh, I'm glad everyone is relatively unharmed!

Stupid question. I know DH is your husband, right? What does DH stand for??

I'm awfully young to not be in all this tech-speak. I just figured out a week ago that FI mean Fiance. . . .

I am glad neither of you was hurt badly, but you're right. What a conversation that would be. "How did you get the black eye?" "Oh My bird clocked me".

Hmmm Maybe an original entry in Guinness Book of Records?
