Dr. Irene Pepperberg
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that Dr. Irene Pepperberg will be giving a speaking presentation at the New York Public Library, 112 E. 96th St., NYC on Saturday February 12 at 2PM. For more information, email Maggie Wright at nygreys@yahoo.com I don't think I'll be able to attend, but wanted to let others know about the event. I'm going to send both Maggie Wright and Dr. Pepperberg invitation to join BB. They are both members of another Grey group that I belong to. ~don

hi Don...I chairing an event for the Alex Foundation closer to us in April...(right ouside of phily)
Maggie Wright, Irene Pepperberg, Liz Wilson and Dr Laura Wade(ABVP) will be there. As soon as I complete the flier I will post a link...

Thanks Lisa, that would be great.
I also wanted to clear some things up (since I've been in contact with other people). You have to be a member of the Manhattan Bird Club to attend the presenation I told you about. Since I'm not a member, I won't be going. sorry for any confusion. But let me know about the fundraiser in April. ~don

Hi don...I am a member actually....and I also know Irene, Liz, Maggie,(tho not as well) and Laura personally. the Manhattan bird club will be advertising for our event in April.
Irene ususally stays with a dear friend of mine when in town, (my house isnt as big) and we always go out after any event she has here in NJ. The event will be in burlington Nj. ALL proceeds will benefit the Alex Foundation. There will be an afternoon of lectures as well as some amazing raffle items. The Lecture will be followed by a Q and A period for each speaker. Maggie will be speaking on Greys and the Grey Play roundtable Liz will be taking about behavior. Laura will be talking about Avian Diseases and illnesses Irene will be lecturing about her work and ALex. We are working on *lunch* for it now, as well as other raffle items... One in perticular is a wonderful painting by Miss Claudia Moss....I will post a pic when I can..... I cant wait to meet everyone from here that is interested in coming. Its going to be a great day!!!! :eusa_clap Ps EVERYONE IS WELCOME, SEATS ARE LIMITED.....
