Cozi is home with pictures

Today was the day!!! I picked up Cozi my male Congo at the airport and he arrived safely!! He is doing very well and already settling in nicely - he is moving around his cage and getting around fine not to mention playing with all of his toys like he has lived here for years. When I go over to his cage and talk to him he will make a few adorable sounds as if he is talking right back to me. I am already in love with this special guy - he is so sweet and cute. Here are some pictures of him in his new forever home - actually alot of pics :LOL:

Wow, he is great and it sounds like he has a very good disposition if he has settled in so comfortably, so quickly. I've got another month until Bing comes home. Since I'm in the market I'd love to see a picture of his cage and see what you chose. Best of luck with him. I hope he figures out quickly how good he's got it!

Cute little guy, but I'm wondering about his cage cover....I'd be worried one of his little toes would get caught on it. It looks like a table cloth...

I think thats a curtain not a cage cover.

Cozi is a really nice looking Congo African Grey. I love actually how deep grey his coloring is (our Skoobie Doo, a Timneh, has a much more pale coloring). He looks really healthy and happy. Congrats!

Thanks everyone - Cozi has been such a good little boy his first day here. He had such a long day also - he was first taken from his breeders and stuck into a crate to go to the airport and was handled by so many different people, plus all the noise, then he flew to his new home, handled again by strangers with lots of noise, and then the car ride home. He was a tough guy though and has been nothing, but an excellent boy. He has been super sweet and we are already starting to bond. He is stepping up on me - hanging out on my arm and shoulder, letting me itch his head and is even already letting me give him kisses. Not to mention he has been playing up a storm like he has lived here for years. Silly guy - he must be pretty comfortable already. I am so pleased with this little guy already - he is just perfect!!

Bekfreak: It's not a cage cover, it's actually decorative curtains - it's hard to tell in the photos, but it is far enough away from the cage and play stand where he can't get caught it in.

I will take a few pictures tomorrow of his cage and stuff and post them so you can see what I have.

PS - here is a video clip I took of him - I was doing some work on the computer and he was more then happy enough to hang out on a perch and play with some toys. Here you can see how relaxed he is already in his new surroundings - this was also take his first night here. He is very mellow about things.
