Bing Is Home!
Bing is home. He was a little subdued at first. By evening he was calling out to me every time I walked into his room. He wanted a prison break. I think he needed some physical contact and since he knows me from my daily visits I figured a little bonding would be a comfort to the little guy. He was a little nippier than usual but he's had a big day.
Davey is not happy there is another bird in the house. I think there will be a long period of adjustment. I hope some day they can be out together in the same room. We'll see. I'm giving Dave extra attention but I don't want him to think that brattiness is going to get him what he wants. For now he's in a little shock so I'm cutting him some slack.  Bing in lockdown while he gets acclimated to his new environment.  Checking out the play top. He's finding the ladders to be a big challenge.  These pictures (especially the second) show some of the muted red mixed in with his grey feathers. Does anybody have any idea whether this will remain after his first molt or do you think he will lose it? I've heard they often lose it but I've seen pictures of adults who have the red factor and it is still in there strong. It doesn't matter either way to me. I'm just curious.

OH I am so happy for you Bing Is home!! He looks like quite a happy boy!! Did you decide to have the store send a DNA on him?

No, I may have the vet do it when I bring him for his wellness visit. I'm too chicken to do it myself.

you might have a bingette there....
 i see an AA playtop in royal blue..... nice!  he will most likely retain the pinkish/red in his legs ....we call my sydney Pink Butt. he has alot of pink.

Congrads on your new baby. It sure seems like a long time before you can bring them home doesn't it? Hope Davey adjust well and they can both be out together soon.
