It's a .....

We got our DNA sexing back yesterday............

Its a Boy

I am very happy to know...but...my daughter is upset, she wanted a girl. She is very upset. I told her to my happy cuz now we can come up with a name and she just cried all day about it.

He is getting so big. I think we are at 9 weeks now. Sitting nicly on a perch and trying to eat real food some. He is a little cuddlering....just like to sit as close to me and play with my hair.

Look on the bright side... I think a good portion of males are less "moody" than the girls.

aww, yay! Congrats on your baby boy :) At least this way you know he won't get as hormonal or try to start laying eggs. He is really super cute and I'm quite jealous. I'd love to have a grey.

I am getting him from Feathered Friends in Santa Fe. Kinda a weird place but I could not find a breeder here. I thought about getting a re-home grey from the bird house in Alb. but I dont think I know enough about taking in a rehome and behavior issues. I do not support the petland down there either.

Just had to share a pic from Saturday. He is 9 weeks here. All feathers are in and he was on a tree perch hanging out with his friend the Amzon. I wish I could afford the Amazon he really like us.

Anyway, I think he rembered us this time and was so excited to see us. Then he loved playing in my hair and was making just a ton of sounds. It was so cute.

Dont know what that is. I will have to look when I go down there on this week.

It is not a bad place just a lot of old poop on the cages and I mean a lot of poop. I dont know why they cant take them outside and hose them off....maybe once a year. I know they are busy with all of the birds. They have voluteers that help out, give them a cage to clean. My TAG is in a cage that a rehome CAG was in and it has the same poop on the door that was there 4 mts ago with the CAG. yucky. I just cant wait to get him home to the clean cage.
