I can see how your falling in love with that little cag. I'm glad there's members on this board that can help us newbies know what to look for when getting our fids. I don't have a grey (yet...would love one though). so it's good to know people like Lisa B. are just out there looking out for our birdies good! Good luck with Loki!

Thank you :D

We just discovered that one of the horizontal bars on the side of the new cage we brought home yesterday is loose. And one of the porcelain bowls has a crack on the inside ... now the problems are piling up! Thankfully it's now, and not AFTER we brought him home that we've noticed this.

AR GH!

Well...maybe your not overlooking it....you might have just thought it was normal...specially if the other babies look the same. You would have known unless you previously had a baby. This is how we all learn, and thats why people are mentioning it. because we care!
The place where you got the cage, should be able to handle the loose bar and or bowl issue. If they dont, lemme know, and give me the name of the cage, and I can find the info out for you.

Hey Susan, when your ready...let me know! I always hear of greys round here needing new homes....I have a feeling that is going to only grow in the near future as well.

We got the cage from the breeder for cheap, $300. So I gotta call them today.
