Panting?

Hey everyone
i've been working on ajax for a long time to build up his wing muscles

the flapping game is something he really loves

but i'm afraid to over do it as he pants like a dog sometimes when he's doing about 10 mins of flapping
and his body temp rises (his feet is really warm) so i usually give him cold water and that helps
but he wants to do even more after the 10 mins

anyone's birds do this?

Zoe pants on the way home from having her wings and nails clipped. Water usually helps her to calm down too.

Sometimes when I put Goose to bed after a few minutes or maybe even 20 he will get on the door from the inside and flap like that and he does it and keeps doing it and the first couple times I thought something was wrong, but I still take him out and he pants like that and just wants his head scratched before he goes to sleep.
