Chicken camping

I thought I had more pics, but they may be on my sons camera i'll look later. Chicken and Tippi went camping with us last week and had a blast. Within two days of being there Chicken learned to Caw like the crows (ugh ). They loved going outside and she usually had her harness on but this day was really nice and it was just for a couple of minutes. I was getting ready to chop up her bananas and she didn't want to wait so she got to sit on the back of a chair and demolish most of it. She is really starting to talk, some of it we still can't understand, she's a good mumbler. Her new favorite thing is to wolf whistle and say "I'm a Quaker" we laugh so hard, she has learned that one from Tippi. She will make kissing sounds when she wants us to come pick her up and said kisses the other day, woo-hoo, pretty baby and last night she said "Tippis a good boy" we've been trying to teach that one to Tippi, lol. When I find my card reader I will upload a couple of videos off my phone. Here are a couple of pics for now.

She normally does wear her harness. My hubby brought her out to me, she was out for about 2 minutes and I was right there with her no wind or anything then I took her back in to get the harness, though my hubby is her favorite she will not let him put the harness on her, only I can. Now if only I could get the quaker to wear it he would be able to go out more often. I do appreciate the concern and have seen all the missing babies out there, we are very careful and outdoors w/o a harness is a very, very, very, very, very, very, very rare thing in fact now that we have them this is the first time either has been outdoors w/o their harness or in a cage. I am just lucky she was so accepting of the harness, she hasn't fought it since the day we got it and is an angel when wearing it.

yes, its nice to hear she is accepting of the harness. I have two greys I can get them on, and the caique. the other grey and zon , forgetaboutit!

Yeah, accidents happen. each time we need to post another lost grey it makes my heart skip a beat. I know tooooo many people personally with lost birds and they never get over the pain or guilt. Thank you for not being upset with me for mentioning it.

I could never get upset about someone being concerned about the welfare of my babies. I have read many threads and posts from you and have visited your website. You seem to be a wonderful person and very knowledgeable in this world and I respect your opinion. In fact that day, I hollered at my hubby for not putting the harness on and that was the day I learned she will not allow him to do it, and it was quite funny watching him try and then when I put it on and was done in less than 5 seconds the look on his face was priceless.
