Do Carlos and Sven have any old college buds that are black-irish? A nice Sean perhaps?

Izzy's a goof.
Hi there~

Wow, Izzy certainly is a smart bird! How old is he? I have a 7 mos old TAG (Martini) and can't wait till she's more communicative. Since I work from home, we hang out together a lot and I talk to her all the time. I'm eagerly awaiting first words, so far Martini's whistling and chuckling but no words. When did Izzie start talking?

I love those two stories! Ziggy isn't at that point yet, but I do love it when he does talk. Every morning when I get up and about (around 530 or so) he'll go, "Hello....hello...come here!" All the while I'm trying to be quiet since the hubby is in bed, so he will get louder if I don't let him out of his cage and give him a quick snuggle. He's started to do it anytime I come through the front door as well...which is nice after a day of work, and the hubby is running late. :o)

Izzy's under a year old... 9 months now I think. I need to check lol. We tried working with Izzy doing the whole "Izzy, say 'hi'!" thing and he'd ignore us, ...and start saying other things out of the blue like "Moooom I'm in the BATHROOM!" ...which makes me a bit guilty because clearly I harrass my child a lot whenever she's using the loo, for him to pick that up! LOL

Essentially, Izzy let us know that our pathetic attempts to say single words was beneath him. So, now I mock him for not doing simple things, like "Haha Izzy you can't open this jar of peanut butter!" and "haha Izzy, you can't balance my chequebook!".

/whistles innocently

He needs a bit of mocking... he's so damn spoiled. I was doing some work last night and I smell cooking... there was definitely cooking happening in my house and it smelled suspiciously like pancakes. It was 1am! I slink to the kitchen and there's my mother, making a birdie pancake, and a wide-awake, salivating CAG bouncing from one foot to the other on his play stand in the living room - eyes fixed on the back of my mother. He was encouraging her with kisses and whistles and 'mmmm MMMmmmm' sounds.

I ask her what she's doing, and she jumps, whirls around with a spatula in her hand and gives me this guilty look. In this little voice she says "Well, he said he was hungry...". Yah, we know who runs my home.

OMG that is hilarious. My husband gets so jealous when I cook for the fids, if I were up at 1 in the morning cooking for them I think he would flip his lid! Now, i'm not the best at cooking and there have been MANY times we have had to dump the dinner I made and order pizza, but that's what's great about they fids, they aren't as picky to my cooking as my human family, lol!!
