Question does the african grey love meeting new people?

Well the topic name pretty much asks my question, but does the African Grey parrot love meeting new people?
Because every year in december, I take a vacation to florida with my family for about 3 weeks, and the place I stay at doesn't allow any pets. So I was wondering if a parrot sitter would be a good idea because I dont know if the African grey would like the sitter.

All birds are individual. My personal experience... no. Matilda doesn't like too much handling at all. She'll allow head scritches when it suits and then she'll pretend she wants head scritches so it's easier to bite you. She's not at all fond of change... be it people, fruit and vegetables or toys.

She's given out time, attention, the right nutrition and toys... she's just happy being the way she is and we love her all the same.

I've known a few CAG's and all are pretty much divas. Great, funny birds with complex personalities and temperaments. Highly inteligent and need lots and lots of simulation in their lives.

Have you done any reseach on CAG's and TAG's?

What are you looking for in a bird?

OMG!!!! You are worried about the grey (that I hope youdon't have) but what about the Macaw that you were talking about yesterday. Youa ren't worried about the macaw and a babysitter????????

Please dont tell me you got a grey now! You were worried you wouldn't have enough thime for the macaw, you think adding another will make it easier or better?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I Won't Put My 2cents For Having A Macaw And Worried About Not Having A Much Time For It As U'd Want And Then Getting Another Bird

Anywho
Ajax Loves New Ppl
But He Is Wery Of Letting The "new Ppl" Pet Him
Tho He Is Has Always Stepped Up To Strangers And Kids
He Won't Bite But If He Doesn't Want U To Pet Him He'll Grab Your Finger Gently And Pulls It Away From His Body
Heh
But Most Ppl Who Don't Know Him Will Think And Is Afraid Cuz They Think He's Gonna Bite 'em
*shrugs*
