Our Greys are so smart
The other night I was showing Echo a picture of a tiger and kept telling him it was a tiger and the tiger says grrr. The very next morning when I was getting ready for work all I said is whats the tiger say and he said Grrr.
   I would bet the greys brain is made of part sponge. How else can they soak up so much knowledge so quickly!

Last night I heard Ellie make a chicken sound after a day of trying to get her to learn it. I thought it would be funny to get them to do barnyard animals.

We bought Izzy one of those barnyard animal kid toys. The kid where you turn the dial, pull the cord and it plays the sound the animal makes. I thought 'nah.. he won't figure out the dial AND the cord...' Wrongo! LOL He figured it out in about 30 seconds.
To our dismay. Now? It's ALL about animal noises. Only, he doesn't make the noises. He turns the dial, pulls the cord and when he hears the 'Baaaaaa' or 'Moooo' sound he goes "Oh good, that's good!" lol Of course, this week's hilarious Izzy thing is from the other night. I'll tease my daughter a lot, and when she's being goofy, I'll say "shaddup you!". Well, as you know I have my two pet Greys, Izzy and Lilly. They live in our great room each sharing a side of a double macaw cage. So, I was sitting down to watch Iron Chef and I hear a squeak - which is Lilly. Suddenly right after the squeak, Izzy goes "Shuddup Lilly!" LOL
