Any tips on teaching the pet hubby to speak nicely to the grey!!! LOL

Yep... here we thought we lucked out rehoming a grey with no dirty words in his vocabulary... yeah right!

I blame it on hubby however because the other night when he walked past his cage and Marti tried to grab a hold, he said something not nice and poof, there it came right back out of the grey's mouth. Not completely his fault though, I have heard a few other things come out of his mouth that are not said in this house, I guess he just wanted to charm us before we got to know the real him LOL. The funniest one is "i'm going to get your a**" and then he'll say "go ahead and try!". Hard not to laugh and I've learned that turning around and going just makes him do it more. Gotta love a bird who is smarter than you!

And Marti being rehomed isn't an option... hubby however... free to a home with a dog house, water, and stale bread (bread is optional).

Sorry no room for the hubbie here, I got rid of mine! He was a pain in the A**! Good luck on rehoming him though. LOL (ya know i'm joking right!) lol

LOL Funny enough... three of our birdie cages are big enough for him... good idea!!!

As for getting rid of him (LOL a joke of course)... I divorced him once and was dumb enough to marry him again so I guess I have no one to blame but myself!!

Our grey has just started to get better with her speaking. I'm just waiting to hear what is gonna come out of her mouth that initially came from my bf's mouth. She already "farts". Who do you think she got THAT from???

LOL Oh no... I agree it is pretty darn funny! It doesn't really bother me at all... I figure it's just a part of having a grey!

I've also learned that they show us what we need to improve in our children... they are notorious for burping and not saying excuse me... so now Marti burps and he'll say anything that comes out of my mouth but is he going to say excuse me??? Noooooo! LOL He also sniffles and poots... but at least he says bless you when we sneeze!

In my house I don't have to worry about the things that come out of my hubby's mouth but my own. Its bad I say worse things then a sailor, literally since hubby is Navy. I have tried cutting back though in hopes that out TAG will not have as bad as a mouth as me hehe.
