How do you give your grey a bath? I think mine is waterproof...

Sounds silly I know but when we give our grey a bath in the sink like everyone else... he stays dry! I've tried spraying him with a bottle, tried the spray nozzle on the sink, he won't stay in the shower, and well the sink isn't working either. He tries to bathe in his water dish but it's too small and if we put a larger bowl in his cage, he ignores it. Just tought someone might have an idea.

Thanks!

Poppy won't stay on a perch or me in the shower. So I kneel on the floor outside of the tub, place him on the tub floor in the back half, start the water & let some pool so he's standing in a little, then put the shower on lightly.

He can't get out b/c the shower curtain is blocking the back half & I'm in the front & it's too high to fly over. He now likes it & will actually play in the water he's standing in.

He gets wet enough & sometimes his little tail feathers are soaked. Good luck.

Ahhhhh... thank you! It's not that he's dirty or anything but our birdies get bathed every few days as habit and I was starting to think I was crazy because he never seemed to get wet! LOL

I appreciate the tips and will give them a try!
