Thumbs up Palm Nuts!

I gave them their very first palm nuts this morning!

Mojo wasn't sure what to do with them, she stuck her beak in the bowl, pushed them about a bit then ignored them!

Shinda however relished them! Wet birdies just had their daily shower!










Oooo! Mojo is now having a chew on one of them so it looks as though they both like them!

Thanks for the link! I live in the UK though so probably need to order them from a supplier here

I paid £8.95 for a 1kg bag...

Parrot food, palm nuts, seeds, diet, african grey

I think that's about the going rate here.

i've been trying to find some but most of them are form the states...

Great pictures again pippy you have very photogenic birds

Went searching for those nuts on Google and found they are selling them on E-Bay if anyone is interested palm nuts, Home Garden, Collectables items at low prices on eBay.co.uk

HI Guys...I sell them on my site <avianbid.com>, but they are queen palm fruit not the african oil palms...although everyone in my aviary loves them! They are very sticky though LOL!

I buy all my parrot food from a supplier in the UK called Rob Harvey, THESE are the African palm nuts I bought and they are really enjoying them!

Parrot feed here...

Parrot Diets

I don't know if they deliver to the US though.
