Ziggy doesn't have noises that annoy me, but some that annoy the hubby (I guess I'm immune to those since I've lived with a Grey all my life). He hates it when Ziggy does Sab's (the parental unit's TAG) high pitched noises.

Chicken has the coffee pot down to a tee even the number of beeps, pitch and all........

beep, beep (done brewing) Look around for a minute so mommy thinks she's crazy, then beep, beep, beep, beep (warmer shutting off, supposed to be 2 hours, but Chicken time is 30 seconds to 1 minute), dangit, now mom knows it was me how long between those is it sposed to be???? Oh and the puppy whine, they've been gone for a month or so and she still whines just like brand new puppies!!! And yes that awful screech, time outs seem to be working on cutting that down but only if there is absolutely no reason for it. Both of my babies hear the words "do you want to go to time out" and they shape up, they mind better than the human kids.... lol

Bing imitates a macaws scream. I don't know if he is copying my little Davey, only louder, or if he picked it up from his bird sitter video but it is loud. I didn't realize this scream was atypical of the Greys until he visited the women I bought him from and they started laughing at this silly Grey screaming like a Macaw.

He also has that ear piercing whistle that others speak of. There is that cute little grey whistle noise that I just love but this is not it. It could break ear drums.

I love when he laughs. He is still young so he doesn't have a clear voice, he kind of sounds like a three pack a day smoker, but every time he does it makes me laugh too.

When I took the birds out on their harnesses on Saturday Mojo (who was sitting on my shoulder) quickly learnt that if she made that noise another bird (being an echo!) would reply! Consequently she did it several times in succession, right by my ear!

Yeah mine only do it a few times a day too! Luckily!

I'd say the weirdest noises they make are bubbles (like someone blowing bubbles underwater - how did they pick that up, I have no clue) and beeping like a microwave / making a door-swinging-shut noise.

Ohhhh that macaw scream is horrid!! I hear it more from Marti than I do from Minga. What gets me is Marti's is even LOUDER!

I haven't heard Marti laugh yet but I tell you he makes a new noise/word every day. When my hubby comes home I always say "who is it Marti?" today he looked at me when he heard the door open and said "who the *beep* is it?" He loves to add his sailor language to everything! I've also been saying "I love you" since we got him and finally heard it repeated yesterday but of course if I ask him to say it, he won't.

We love these turkeys why??? LOL
