good ol time!

Ajax wasn't a big fan of his swing since i had made it for him over 4 months ago

i was doing some stuff on the computer
and ajax let out this scream..... scream of excitment

the first time he did that we freaked out
thought his lil toes got caught

now we dont' freak out but look to make sure his toes didn't get caught

so i automaticlly looked over to the top of the playstand which is where he usually is

and he's ON his swing! chewing on it!

i was proud of him he was somewhat afraid of it

yes it works as it disinfects without chemicals

but i always spray on vinegar and let it sit for 5 mins

it makes it waaaaay faster and easier as the presurized steam gets into the nooks and crannies

;)

b4 i got the steam cleaner it use to take me 1.5 hours to clean his cage

but now it only takesme 20-30mins

It cracks me up that for days, even weeks they will avoid a toy like it is about to eat them and then all of a sudden it is the love of their life. Bing lives under the illusion that he is fearless. I think he has amnesia with regard to past fears over new things in his little corner of the world.

They are head cases.

I tried a steamer and didn't have great luck with it. It wasn't a handheld model. It was very big and kind of cumbersome. I think it was a shark. I found that it blew stuff (you know what I mean) all over but didn't necessarily get it all off. Some people love them. I was hoping I would. I really would like to find something that makes cage clean up easy. I can't take the cages down the yard or a car wash to clean them. I have to do it all by hand.

hey tom,
did u try pre-spraying with vinegar first and let it soak for 5-10 mins?

i find it works great for getting the stuck on stuff

i found it is easier to steam off the stuff with a pre-spray
also it doesn't blow everyhitng around the place since the stuff is wet already with the vinegar spray

i too have a shark,, not a handheld one of the pro versions that has a hsoulder strap and it can sit on a cart with wheels to drag around
