I must be completely off, but I always thought of Vern as a female (ish) name more then a male. Regardless I like the name Vern.

What about Verness? Just a thought! (My parent's TAG we thought was a male for the longest time...18 years in fact...and then she laid her first egg. We kept the name Sebastian, but don't call her "Mr. Bird" anymore...oh well!)

lol both of my toos are boys that were bought as girls! they take really well to name changes! really they take it better then you do!! i still call my goffins by his female name sometimes but he answers to his new name so whatever you name her she will understand they are really smart(i dont have to tell you this!) so like i said it will be harder for you lol hope this helps
