Bottle Toy

this toy is easy to make
just cut a 1/2 inch hole in the side of the clena dry bottle
and put whatever u want in the bottom and put hte cap back on.

so it's bene 2 days since ajax came home

he's doing very well now

adjusted to the new place without an issue

i've made this toy for him just before he flew out of the old house
and he really enjoys it

Just be careful that you don't use the hard, brittle type of plastic that might cut the fid (or worse if ingested!) as they chew to make the hole bigger.

I was just thinking about that, and was pondering using toilet paper and paper towel rolls in lieu of a plastic bottle. Use a paper hole punch to punch some holes to let Ziggy have spots to tear away at and then fold the ends to contain the treats.

I make foraging toys all the time of tubes.

The cone shaped coffee filters are great too... just twist the top and use a small piece of easy to shred cotton rope if needed. (I separate the strands and use a single strand... hard to tie without breaking though! LOL)

You can use strips of any bird-safe paper like "candy wrappers" for foraging fun too!

and then i stuck some popsicle sticks so that they stick out (the sticks are cut in half)
