Beak rubbing

I know that birds rub their beaks on perches for several reasons (to clean them, etc.), but my TAG has been doing this a lot lately...

Do you think there is a reason for this? Or is it just normal beak rubbing?

A lot to some people could mean a little to others, how much time does the bird spend doing this? It's sometimes a warning sign to back off and it it breeding season. Birds do often develop displacement behavior when they are not stimulated to play with their toys, forrage for food, or get enough interaction which could also be the case.

I think it is normal. My TAG does this all the time year round and has had no ill effects from it. Sometimes I think it is like marking their territory because she does it on my shoulder but doesn't do it to anyone else. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
