Bing - Ten Months Old and looking particularly handsome.


Bing - I'd like to say he is being shy but not this guy.


I don't know if you can see all of the havoc he has created all around this table. For the first four months of life with me he left this table alone but has turned it into his own playground and ruined anything he could pick up and throw or chew (I know, I know, it's my own fault for trusting him). The brat will come out a winner. I will be moving it into storage and he is going to get a new play stand or Java Tree (if I win the lottery).

Blurry picture but it shows all the red factor in his back. I hear he will probably lose it in a molt or two. It also shows his trimmed wing feathers. Is there a nicer way to do it? Those last few were done by my vet so it wasn't any thing I did.

He's a very handsome guy! I love how different the babies look than the adults... seems like they almost completely become new birdies. I discovered today that baby grey eyes are dangerous!

I think I've discovered all baby birds are dangerous. When one would snuggle into me I'd buy into the idea that this one really bonded with me. Now I realize they do that with just about everyone. Even at a young age they can connive and scheme. Bing pulled that as a little guy and I fell for it. Since then about ten others have too. ...and I thought I was special.

Marvin ate one of the doors off of my book case in his first year. I would scold him and he would go right back to it as if it was a game.

I just noticed he's trying to get into my scotch. The label is chewed off and an unopened box has suffered beak damage too.

Lines have to be drawn. His reign of terror has to come to an end.

Little Dave is so good about sticking to his own cage. Bing could care less.

It's funny you say that. After I responded to your comment about my new dog on a different thread I looked at your website and saw the pictures of Izzy and Lily. With all the birds you have I doubt you would miss one. They are really sweet looking young ladies. The pictures with the rose almost look posed. I'm not sure which one I'd grab, they're both pretty great.

And yes, baby TAGs are nearly impossible to resist. There was one in the shop I go to and if I wasn't broke from buying Bing he might have been mine although I swear I'm not breaking a two bird limit.
