Cool Toy!

Hey all...I've been posting on this site for a while and I just wanted to tell you a toy I made that has been a success with my TAG! :icon_smil

I'm a newbie (Only had my TAG since January), so most of you probably have already tried this idea before. What I did was I found a thin piece of old cloth and sewed a ton of cool things onto it, like beads, string, doll house toys, etc. I laid out the cloth on my kitchen table and let my TAG roam around. He was a little worried about the new toy at first, and didn't know it was safe. I let him know it was okay by showing him how fun it was; playfully poking at the beads. I also sprinkled some of his favorite nut (almonds) around the cloth. This set him off! For almost an hour he pulled and played with everything on it, and when I finally put him back into his cage because he was getting too excited, he wanted to play more!

Just wanted to let you all know about this...

P.S. For other newbies like me: Always supervise! Small beads on the cloth can be swallowed.

Thanks so much for sharing!!! I too am a new TAG owner...Bosco is only 4mos old and has only been with us for 3wks now!!!! He is not too shy most of the time but I know he would LOVE a toy like this! You can also get an over sized white dress shirt & sew buttons and ribbons etc on it & allow your baby to climb on you and play as a great bonding experience! Please keep the great ideas coming....I love to share!!! :eusa_clap

Low tech

I spreadout and old towel with holes chewed by our CAG on our ottoman. Then I put my finger through one of the holes (out of strike range). When she runs to get it, I wrap her up in the towel, and pet her back until she finds her way out of the towel. Cheap fun.............
