Well it finally happened...
One of my babies has returned to me. Not due to bad ownership, but because her mother has alzheimers and she cannot give this sweet boy the attention he needs. So, of course, I bought him right back!
So, I go to meet him again and after 3 months of being away (yes, he's just a baby!) he blinked, his eyes pinned and he started making the hungry baby-grey noises! He recognized me! I melted. It brought tears to my eyes that he remembered. He scrabbled from his cage and into my arms and was the same sweet little man I raised from the egg. *sniffs* Here's a picture of him then and now! Then:  and:  *disclaimer: No, the then did not indicate I sold him at that age. I only sell babies once they've weaned entirely*

 Happiness is having a shop-vac for a regular vacuum, feeling nutriberries between the toes in the mornings, & the occasional sip of hand-feeding formula when you mistake it for morning coffee. Ahh life!

No, I won't keep him. Izzy and Lilly would not approve. But, that he remembered me so clearly and settled right into his old ways... it just amazed me!

He is beautiful!!! I hope he finds a wonderful home. Sometimes things like these happen so the perfect forever home can be found! I love that he recognized you, that would probably make me cry!!

I was just telling hubby today, they have long memories!
