I just bought a cage for my CAG, the dimensions of the internal living area are 30"x30"x46". My little Henry is so happy with his new cage! I have been told that you don't want to give grey TOO much space, and there are people that have slightly larger and slightly smaller cages. I bought mine at Petco, it was $300 and I love it, it is easy to clean, stuff doesn't seem to stick very bad at all.

Buy the biggest you can possibly afford, that's my philosophy on cage size.

Mojo and Shinda's cage..

thanks!
am torn between 2 cages.. one is the same one that my crimson rosella Percy has, which is big and has a play gym on top.
The other is the same but a double version, so twice as big but without the play gym. I love the big one but my mum said cause Casper (CAG) will only be a baby when he comes home that cage will be too big and he'll look lost.. plus i know i'll feel guilty that Casper has a bigger cage than Percy.. but casper will be a bigger bird eventually.. i dont no what to do!

Buy the bigger cage, your bird will benefit far more from having the extra space when shut in the cage than from having a play gym when out of the cage because you simply give him/her a separate playstand for out of cage time

What a strange (and totally untrue) thing to tell you!

The only thing to take into consideration is that when bringing home young birds and introducing them to a new cage is to ensure you start of with all the perches, bowls and toys low down until the baby has gained complete control of it's movements.

The only grain of truth in that statement is that some greys won't nest/mate in aviary but when you put them in smaller cages they go straight in the nest box, don't ask why though..
Mind you i am not talking *small* cages, swedish "nesting cages" for greys are 140 cm x 100cm x 110 cm. My gf have one and i am getting one for mine.
