I've often wondered about this... These are outdoor animals, locked up in a cage inside of a house. It seems a little bit of fresh air and sunshine might be worth a try!

I would probably pull my hair out if I couldn't get outdoors.

RPO (derived from palm nuts) which is their staple diet in the wild, i get mine from the health store, you add it to their foods 1/4 teaspoon twice a week. you can drizzle over their fruit/veg, toast or give it straight. misting with 100% aloe juice mixed with half water is also VERY good for their skin and feathers and helps with dryness as well, most reccomended by all parrot/bird people.
