She actually looks pretty good! I think there's hope. She looks a heck of a lot better than Sunny did. Unfortunately Sunny picked out her pin feathers. :( I'll bet with all the activity at your house she will stop or slow down plucking once she settles in.

So is her name going to be "conure"? It would be kind of cute. lol I'm really glad you got her. I think you'll (you are) do well with her. She looks like a sweetheart.
OT but the people want 400 for her cage. A person can buy a brand new cage just like it from Reed Seed for the same price. I agree with your post in another thread that it's better they are selling it than getting another bird. I really think they should ask less for it. Actually, I think they should have given it to you along with her but...........

I wouldn't have taken it. It needs some work (had some rust spots), and it was SO huge!! When she was on top of it, no one could touch her. She's on the playtop of the boys old cage this afternoon...and she's fully enjoying herself! My daughter's been down there all day with her, and I go down on and off. However, I'm going to have to nap before work...so I'll have to do it down there in case my daughter needs me.
She did (my daughter) refuse to listen to her 'signs' and got a small bite trying to touch her. However, she didn't break skin. So far, we're still all liking Ziva. She hasn't said "Polly" today, so I'm hoping that she can learn Ziva. I know she is SUPER smart..so I think she can. I tried to teach her my daughter's name, LOL!

The two birds I had with feather follicle damage had weirdly smooth skin, not bumpy like you normally see -- I don't know if that's, like, an identifying characteristic, but doesn't look like your girl has that at all, from the pictures. Good sign, I think?
She is pretty!!

Yes, on both counts. I love the meaning... as well as the name.
