Molting questions

Ok, sorry for so many questions, it has been several years since I had a bird in the house. I posted the other night asking how much fluff and feathers being shed in a day is normal (if a bird is not molting). I was concerned because Henry had shed a few feathers. Well today when I got up, I scratched his head and 2 feathers fell out on their own, and now I noticed this spot, which looks like pin feathers coming out. Is this in fact molting, and does it look normal? I don't remember ever seeing a spot of pin feathers on my tiel, but he was much smaller, and all white so they stuck out less. Once again I apologize for being so panicky, nekkid pets concern me as my bulldog has bald spots on his sides from hormonal alopecia, so I feel like luck is not on my side :-(

I snuggled him up to me, and scratched the area, and he seemed VERY happy.

Definitely moulting, yes!

You will find that any feathers about ready to drop out will do so very readily if you happen to touch them. I love the tiny little feathers from the top of the head when they come out! Just so ridiculously small!

Oh the tiny little feathers are the cutest! They look like little oatmeal flakes.
