scared of plexiglass!

I've had an ongoing battle with Cokie shredding the pannelling and woodwork. He was really enjoying the fact I had to watch him constantly and keep going over there every 5 minutes to make him get down, and even the cage time outs were a type of negative attention he seemed to thrive on. Finally we fixed it and covered it with plexiglass. He waiting till I wasn't looking of course and went over to do his usual damage, saw the plexiglass and ran like crazy away. That was a week ago and he hasn't taken a step towards the wall since! Maybe just a touch of phobia can be a good thing!

Oh well that could be good though, no more chewing where he shouldnt! Im sure it was because he couldnt see it and then all of a sudden *DONK* theres a wall!! = )

he hasn't gone near any of the walls just because of the bit of plexiglass over the corner. cross your fingers I don't have to cover the whole room in plexi!
