Red face Ellie is SO hilarious!

This morning Ellie was doing huge sneezes. They sound like this: "ahh CHOO! WHOO!" LOL and she recently added the WHOO which is much higher pitched than the sneeze, which sounds like a guy.

She has also taken to oinking really loud and I think it's her new favourite sound. I don't mind, it makes me laugh. As I write this she is trying to get my attention by dancing and singing along with her usual fart noises She laughs at herself after, then it turns into more strange noises (wheee! meoow meeow! woof woof woof!) and more laughing. She is such a riot. I guess she feels Kato is so quiet, she has to make up for it by being as talkative as two greys normally are. Kato did say Good Morning quite clearly a few times this morning though. He does talk sometimes, but he prefers to whistle and make strange noises.

What do your Greys do/say that makes you laugh ? I love hearing stories of all the clever things they say that makes your jaw drop or burst out laughing.

As Mojo and Shinda are still fairly young at sixteen months old they don't have a huge repertoire as yet but do say the usual 'hello', 'bye bye' 'good boy/girl' etc etc plus they mimic various household sounds.

The funniest thing at the moment is Mojo asking Shinda if he wants a tickle! You can hear her say it to him quite clearly several times in this video clip!

YouTube - Mojo & Shinda, my African Grey parrots

It cracks me up every time!

Well, Stirling is my demanding one. He tells me what to do all the time.
Come on, come here. go nite nite. bye bye.
I always tell him not to rush me!

Emma doesnt talk, so her actions and noises make me laugh.
At night, if she feels that she didn eat enough dinner I cooked for her, she will sit on her playstand bowl...she takes her foot and scratches at the surface to make a noise to make me look. When I do...she gives me a look, like "ok, bowl empty ma!" She knows everytime, that will get me up to get her food. she doesnt do it every night...so it is only when she is hungry.

Best thing tho is when my husband asks me a question and the grey answer appropriately so I dont have to ...and the husband never even notices the difference.

Geez... Ziva does so MANY things that makes me laugh!! I find it really funny when the conures are being loud... and I hear the Pom barking like crazy.. then a cat fight follows! She also says 'Yeah' at the appropriate times. She now immitates Jade's whining (Jade whines a lot when she wants to come out of her crate!)... it's hard to tell if it's the dog or the bird! She does an ambulance, a truck backing up... she whistles like you do when calling a dog or a person when she wants someone. She also says "Wooo!" when she's excited or if I'm getting too close to her (like when I hang her fresh food bowl). She's also started pushing this wood toy to get it to scratch her head as it swings by! She says "Stop screwing around, I see you!" quite a bit, too. She's a riot all around!

I have always loved greys..but I had no idea that they were SO entertaining! It seems like she comes up with a new sound or word every day. I am guessing that she's known these all along, but as she gets more comfortable, she says more. She usually will make sounds and talk all day long! She's really great...I'm glad she came into my life.

They are beautiful and so funny to watch.

I love when Dave is screaming and Bing says, "Stop it Dave." Of course I've also caught Bing imitating Dave's scream and saying, "Stop it", so I'm left to wonder how many times Dave has shouldered the blame for noise he never made.

That's too funny!! It's kind of scary how 'real' their mimics are!
