Is my grey trying to tell me something?
My husband and I usually take our 10-month old CAG wherever we go. He loves riding in the car. When we play CDs, he will scream, whistle, and laugh loudly with the music.
The other day, we went to an event and were not able to take him along. When we arrived home, we saw that he had pulled out an empty food bowl from its socket and dropped it on the cage floor. (we don't use that bowl). He positioned that bowl perfectly under his perch so that the droppings would fall perfectly into it. He has never done that while we're home. Would a CAG have the reasoning power to perfectly position that dish and perform this feat deliberately? Your input is appreciated. |

... test it. Leave him at home again and see if he repeats the feat. ;D

Yeah, I'd vote for coincidence. My grey dumps out bowls wherever and whenever she can. If your grey's bowl is located near his/her favorite perch, it could have landed under there by coincidence. And we all know that our birds tend to poop in the same one or two locations, so...
