Question Finding a good seed mixture

I need to find a good seed mixture that I can use for all 3 of my birds , I have a Tag, Eclectus and a Quaker , something with little or no sunflower seeds , or do I need to feed seeds? I haveing been giving all 3 of them a Nutriberry about 2 or 3 times a week instead of buying a seed mixture on opinions or ideas ????????

I give nutriberries as well for variety. My grey goes nuts for the El Paso flavor. Plus, they're perfect for all her favorite foraging toys. No toy is ever left untouched if it's got a Nutriberry in it!

Can't really help since i buy 20 kg sacks from a breeder, and he in turn gets seed mix he specified himself from retailer. All my birds eat it anyway, it hasn't got a lot of sunflower seeds, but i am not an expert on seeds so can't really tell what's in it, except dried chili (obvious even to my eye : )

My CAG's previous owner gave him to me with a huge sack of Kaytee seed mix which he was feeding as primary diet. Henry immediately loved pellets so I had this huge sack of seeds and it seemed a waste to toss away. Basically I sprinkle a few seeds into his pellets everyday, and mix it up, so he has to dig around for them. I use the sunflower seeds as training tools, like I point to his perch when I want him to return to his cage, and when he climbed in I would give him one, now I only give the seed every few times. Basically as long as it is just a small supplement it probably doesn't matter so much what type, if there are too many sunflowers just pick some out, and keep them for training tools. I give a nutriberry maybe 3 times a week as well, usually when I need a nap, in order to keep him busy.

My birds are both on pellets. They get fresh fruits, veggies and sprouts on odd days and mash on even in the morning. Both birds get a pinchful of a seed mix in the evening. I feed a mix from Birdieparadise that is specific for Cags/eclectus and one for toos. It has dehydrated fruit and veggies, coconut, pellet, pumpkin, peppers, safflower, millet, and broken bits of cuttlebone for calcium. The toos mix has larger nuts in it.

higgins mayan harvest -celestial is a wonderful mix. no sunflower. appropriate for all.
great in conjunction with a good pellet diet.

Judy, has your grey been diagnosed with a calcium deficiency if you are supplementing with extra calcium via cuttlebone?

You must have fast naps. My guys can demolish a nutriberry in about .002 seconds! LOL

Lisa, his bloodwork showed it to be just alittle low but still in normal range. He dumps the cuttlebone anyway!

Goldenfeast Central American Preservation mix II. No sunflower seed. Small pieces, for some reason my CAG likes smaller bits. Lots of ingredients for variety.

ty All I think I'am going to try the Higgins but they will only get a small amount like a Tablespoon and every other day I think would be best, Rudy my Tag will be 6 months old soon and she just now really started eating her pellets really good so I don't want to spoil that , my fids already get Goldenfeast I usually order Madagascar Delite or Caribean Bounty but even that I have to watch on how much I give , my Quaker and my Tag will fill up on it and then won't touch the pellets, ty Lisa
