The blood feathers can be tender which could account for the irratability. Regular baths are important during a molt to soften the keratin surrounding each new feather.As for the bald spots,how large are we talking?None of my birds have ever had a visible bald spot.What kind of diet does your Blue Front recieve?

the bald spot isnt that large, about the size of a half dollar. its only visible when she is wet, thats why i just now noticed it.
she eats zupreem pellets, i alternate between fresh fruits and veggies. she gets scrambled eggs a few times a week, dried bananas in the morning with her pellets, and the occasional peanut for a treat.
