Healthy Amazon Feet
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had any pics of what a pair of healthy blue-fronted amazon feet looks like, both the tops and the bottom. Good luck taking a picture of the bottoms of the feet. :-D I'm asking because I'm having one of my overprotective moments, and noticed that my zon's feet seem a little pink underneath. My boyfriend is convinced that they have always been like that, and I'm imagining things. I bought my tiel and zon both thermo-perches, and they seem to love them. Obviously, if they were hurting their feet (i.e. burning...the perches don't seem that hot), they would sit on other perches, of which they have many, wouldn't they? Perhaps there's some vitamin deficiency? They're on pellets, for the most part. |

i think the pink is ok, as long as there are no sores or anything. here are a few pics of the feet of an amazon, not a blue front though, i used to have:
