The only possible good that can come from this situation is the reminder to all who read this thread that it is absolutely imperative to get a bird to an avian vet ASAP if it should stop eating and drinking -- at that point, time is of essence. I am genuinely and sincerely sorry for your loss, Erin.

i am so sorry for your loss. your story brought tears to my eyes. just know he probably passed away as happy as he possibly could because you were by his side the whole time and u were the last face he saw when he passed into heaven. again, im so sorry..
