I Hope My Bird Isnt Dying...help???

I lost my peppe all of a sudden he was a cocktiel this bird was so good and it was the first time I ever realize how good and comforting a bird could be. One time he got inside the top of washer that was left open and had his wings spread so that he would go down the other one Pretty was yelling and it made my husband go up fast to find him like that he was hydro by than couldn't move my husband did everything warm him breath in his mouth by the time we got him to the vet he was starting to move and survied that thanks to my husband than about 2 years later out of the blue he got sick fell asleep on my neck. I didn't even realize he was gone my husband did I just couldn't believe it. When they get listless it's serious. We have a Mc Caw too we say they can live a long long time God willing we won't ever half to see him go like our other pets. I'm so so extremely sorry. It breaks my heart listening to you I cried and can't stop they really are so caring!....Hope your ok How old was he ? What kind of bird was he sounds like he grew up with you ........Im so so sorry. i really appreciate all of the luv im recieving... it is hard but im going to be strong.... 2 answer a few questions... his name was troy.... i did grow up with him... hes about 25 years old... my mom didnt get him until i was about a year old....from some friends of ours so he was already about 5 or so... i was thinking about going 2 see what had caused his death... but i decided id rather close the door and let him be buried in our backyard peacefully with his other friend then going through more.... it is very true that ones dont realize just how loving these creatures can be... and i will miss him greatly....he will be irreplaceable and all the WONDERFUL memories will never be 4gotten... -erin *thanks again

By the way, there's nothing that says you have to "be strong." Take your time and heal, no matter how many tears that takes.
